Peace be with you!

So, it's already April of 2008. Easter came earlier than it has in practially forever, and I'm finally getting around to some spring cleaning. As I was running the vacuum the other day, I started to think about all the wonderful things that happened in 2007--I know, four months into the year, but hey, those four months few by. My traditional regency romance, The Resurrection of Lady Somerset, was released on 7 September 2007. Not only was I jumping for joy at the release, but I was doing cartwheels (not literally, of course. I wouldn't want to hurt myself) when the book received great reviews: 4-Stars from Romantic Times Magazine, and 4-Hearts from The Romance Studio. I even had some readers email me and tell me I was their new favourite author! What a joy that was, I can tell you.

In addition, my novella, The Lighthouse, an inspirational romance, was also released on 7 September! I thought the best thing was having two titles released on the same day. But you know what? It wasn't. The best part was reader response and reviewer's choice. The Lighthouse was a Night Owl Romance reviewer's top pick and it received five angels from Fallen Angel Reviews. Yippee!

My short story, Hyacinths in Winter, that was released on 18 July 2007, also received glowing feedback. It even made some people cry--in a good way!

So, 2007 was a pretty good year, I must say. God is good, and I am grateful.

I've just completed a gallery of some of the covers I've designed this past year. Click here to view it. And be sure to drop me a note to let me know what you think.

Please hang around as long and as often as you like, and feel free to contact me regarding my projects.

Blessings,
Nicola
